I would most likely not take the optional placement if I still wanted to do this as the placement would not really benefit me. Course content This psychology degree looks at areas of psychology from the basic theories of psychology to development to research. This course also gives the option to take a year for placement on a psychological professional/ industrial placement. PGCE costs Students on PGCE courses will have their fees met in full (subject to residency requirements], provided that they apply to their LEA for assessment. The University will pay students a training salary of £6000 for the year. This will be paid in nine monthly instalments. There is no need to make a separate application for this - the University automatically pays the salary.
